CALL TO HELP LOS ANGELES WILDFIRES

As an organization based in Los Angeles, our hearts are with the LA community as they face the devastating impacts of the massive wildfires threatening our home. To everyone affected, we stand with you and are inspired by the resilience and unity shown during this challenging time.

Please see the donation and volunteer opportunities below to learn how you can help those most impacted by this devastation.

Donate: Monetary & Supply Contributions

USE YOUR POWER!

If you’re looking to make a difference through monetary or supply donations, there are several ways you can contribute to the ongoing relief efforts.

  • Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Disaster Relief Fund is accepting donations to help support those impacted by the fire and who need assistance. Donate here.
  • Project Angel Food nourishes the health and spirit of vulnerable people facing critical and life-threatening illness, by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care and dignity. Every $10 you give will directly provide one delicious, life-saving meal to someone struggling. Donate here.
  • Cash Aid for Outdoor Workers Impacted by LA County Wildfires Fundraiser To support our fellow Angelenos during this difficult time, Inclusive Action has launched an emergency aid fund that will provide $500 in cash assistance directly to “open-air workers” – people whose jobs require them to work outside (street vendors, landscapers, recyclers, and other outdoor workers). Donate via GoFundMe here.
  • Baby2Baby is working to distribute emergency supplies to children & families affected by LA Fires including diapers, food, formula, water, clothing, blankets and hygiene products. Donate here.
  • United Way Emergency Wildfire Response Fund will assist low-income individuals whose livelihoods have been disrupted, people experiencing homelessness, those providing essential services, and the community organizations and small businesses affected by these devastating wildfires. Donate here
  • International Medical Corps is providing medical and mental health services, as well as other critical support, to health facilities—including FQHCs, which serve low-income and other vulnerable populations—as well as local partners and affected communities during this crisis. If you’re able to donate, please drop them off at the center (2236 Federal Ave, Los Angeles, CA, 90064) or buy them on their Amazon Wishlist.

Volunteer: Get Involved in LA

USE YOUR POWER!

If you’re in LA and looking to get involved with volunteer efforts in person, there are numerous opportunities to lend a hand.

  • National Emergency Child Care Network provides free emergency child care to families impacted by the wildfires. Volunteers deploy to a family’s home, to a disaster shelter, or a pop-up childcare center at a work space to provide immediate child care when all schools and childcare shut down due to a disaster. Volunteers must be 18+, have reliable transportation, pass a background check and attend a 2 hour training. Sign up here to help.
  • No Res Gourmet is actively responding to the LA fires by preparing and distributing meals, care packages, and essential supplies to those affected. Volunteers can help cook, package, and distribute meals. Additionally, they are in need of supplies such as well. Learn more here
  • LA Works Disaster Volunteer Alerts If you’re located in the LA area and want to volunteer to help support efforts, sign up for alerts here as needs in the community are announced.
