Established in 1987, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a voluntary health organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education, and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies:

VOLUNTEER: Vote Forward – Pennsylvania Supreme Court Race

In 2025, three justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court are up for re-election, and the results could influence court decisions on major issues like mail voting, gun safety laws, and public education. Most registered voters do not participate in odd-year elections like this one. So this month, write letters through VOTE FORWARD to help turn out younger voters for the 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court judicial elections!
These letters will encourage younger voters to turn out, and will also provide a number to reach a volunteer support team for authentic conversations about this election and the importance of voting. For more detailed information about this specific campaign, CLICK HERE!
